Technology and Inequality: The New Social Contract (Boston)
These are the best of times, tech entrepreneurs tell us—these are the worst of times, tech critics respond. In a society that has been trending toward greater inequality for nearly half a century, technology has often played a negative role. But technology also lets us glimpse more utopian vistas. What do we want our new digital social contract to look like? Politically, how can we get there?
Radio Open Source will co-host a panel discussion about these questions, in celebrationof the release of Logic‘s fourth issue, SCALE.

- Tarleton Gillespie, principal researcher at Microsoft Research New England and an affiliated associate professor in the Departments of Communication and Information Science at Cornell.
- Ben Tarnoff, columnist at The Guardian and a founding editor of Logic.
