16th Annual Rosie’s Place “A Christmas Carol”
On December 2, 1867, Charles Dickens began his first American reading tour of “A Christmas Carol” at The Parker House in Boston. Join some of your favorite WBUR personalities for a special reading of this timeless holiday tale of charity and redemption to benefit Rosie’s Place, a sanctuary for women in need.
Come celebrate the 16th anniversary of this annual Boston event and support the women of Rosie’s Place with your ticket purchase. Holiday cookies and hot cocoa will be provided during intermission. Rosie’s Place holiday cards and jewelry from their Women’s Craft Cooperative will be available for purchase – just in time for final holiday shopping.
Tickets will go on sale on November 13.
