The City of Boston has pledged to go carbon neutral by 2050. But how?
One way is by changing the way we get to work. Boston University professor of earth and environment Cutler Cleveland believes electric vehicles, a “clean grid,” improved transit, investment in active transport and incentives to reduce the use of private vehicles. He’s collaborating with the city on the nitty-gritty, and he’ll join Barbara Moran, WBUR senior producing editor, enviroment, to share some of his surprising preliminary findings and insights.
This event is free and open to the public, but advance registration is required.
