Donor Advised Fund
What is a donor advised fund?
A donor advised fund (DAF) is a mechanism that simplifies the administrative burden of fulfilling your philanthropic objectives. DAFs offer the favorable tax benefits of giving directly to charities with added flexibility around timing of gifts. An increasingly popular charitable vehicle, DAFs are an excellent way to both simplify your charitable giving and also facilitate your strategic philanthropic goals.
If you have a DAF with Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, or BNY Mellon, you can use the DAF Direct widget below to recommend grants to Boston University for the benefit of WBUR directly from your fund. We also accept gifts from other DAFs, including The Boston Foundation.
WBUR is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, charitable organization, licensed by Boston University, whose legal name is Trustees of Boston University. Your gift should be designated to Trustees of Boston University for the benefit of radio station WBUR. WBUR will be the sole recipient of your gift.
