A gift of $1,500 or more makes possible the news and original programming that are hallmarks of WBUR. Whether you contribute a single gift or multiple gifts totaling $1,500 or more during your annual membership year, you will join the group of WBUR’s most steadfast and generous donors who demand a high standard of excellence like the legendary Edward R. Murrow. Simply put, The Murrow Society reflects the professionalism and value that WBUR and NPR achieve every day.

Correspondent — $1,500 to $2,499

  • Private tour of WBUR 90.9 and studios for you and a guest
  • Subscription to Airwaves
  • Automatic entry into all of WBUR’s fundraising sweepstakes
  • Advance notice of ticketed events and partner events
  • Preferential seating at WBUR, or WBUR-sponsored, events such as On Point Live; Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me…; and The Moth**
  • Two tickets to The Murrow Society Thank You reception

Producer — $2,500 to $4,999

All of the above benefits, plus:

  • Behind-the-scenes viewing of live broadcast of On Point or Here & Now
  • Invitations to VIP receptions to meet on-air hosts and notable guests

Reporter — $5,000 to $9,999

All of the above benefits, plus:

  • In-station lunch for four and personal tour with our Director of News and Programming

Director — $10,000 to $24,999

All of the above benefits, plus:

  • In-station lunch for four with General Manager, Charlie Kravetz, and the news reporter of your choice
  • Invitations to intimate gatherings and dinners with WBUR producers, reporters, and NPR correspondents

Host — $25,000 to $49,999

All of the above benefits, plus:

  • In-station lunch for six with General Manager Charlie Kravetz and a WBUR on-air host of your choice
  • On-air credit for sponsoring a day of WBUR

General Manager-$50,000 or more

All of the above benefits, plus:

  • WBUR host, producer, or reporter of your choice will attend a dinner or reception at your home
